Art in the Community  The QAC is booking the 2013 Art in the Community shows.  If you are an artist and would like to display (and hopefully sell) your work, call the QAC at 613-962-1232 ext. 28 or email feeney@quinteartscouncil.org.  Works will be exhibited for two months, six times a year, at the QAC Office/Gallery at 36 Bridge St. East, downtown Belleville, as well as at several other locations in Quinte.  The QAC Gallery also displays 3-dimensional work.  All the other spaces will display 2D only.  All work must be prepared for hanging.  An opening reception is hosted by the QAC.  You must be (or become) a QAC member and works can be in any media, and must be accompanied by an artist statement and short bio.  A 20% commission is deducted from items sold.

Belleville Choral Society welcomes interested potential singers to audition in May for the 2013-2014 season.  The Belleville Choral Society is seeking an accompanist for the future. Interested persons are to contact Mirijam at bcsmusdirector@hotmail.com.

Fusion  Come join our group of over two dozen local artisans in our 'Canada eh' handcrafted gallery, located in Fusion in beautiful downtown Belleville.  We welcome all mediums and are particularly looking for fiber artists, fused or blown glass, 3 dimensional art and all things unique.  Please reply with a brief bio and 3 - 5 images to fusioncollections@gmail.com.  Established and emerging artists are welcome.

Deadline ASAP  The Kiwanis Club of Tweed and Tweed & Area Arts Council will present Art in the Park on Aug. 3, at the Memorial Park on Stoco Lake. Deadline Sept. 4  Call to Design Teams - National Holocaust Monument in Ottawa.  Open to Canadian-led teams of professional artists, architects, landscape architects and other urban design professionals.
