CRAFT
GUILD
Trenton,
Ontario, Canada
The Trenton Craft Guild
is a
non-profit organization that has helped its community by having a
place for local
talent to meet and develop professionally and by helping local
charities with financial contributions as well as donating free
booth
space at their annual Craft Shows. The membership of the Guild
has
been growing steadily since 1993 adding many talented Artisans to its
membership
each year.
Meetings are held every second Tuesday
of the month at 7 pm at 50 Rollins Drive in Belleville. These meetings are open to anyone interested
in joining the guild
as a member. The guild encourages Artisans in the Quinte area by
organizing Arts and Craft shows, inviting informed speakers to their
meetings and conducting field trips of interest to the members. The
guild has many resource books and articles available on
various topics relating to craft and home-based businesses.
Membership
fee is $25 per year, which includes liability group insurance. To be in
good standing, members are required to attend at least two business
meetings during the year (Jan - Dec), be a vendor in at least one Guild
show per year if they actively participate in craft shows and to pay their
membership dues by May. Members in good standing are eligible for a free
membership draw at the end of the year and will receive a rebate on their
show fees.
For more information contact the
Guild President, Carol Morden at 613-392-8376.
If you are a
