Having a passion for coloured light, I was immediately hooked. I trained at Glowing Panes Glassworks in Thornhill, Ontario under the instruction of Laura Heathcote. After moving to Bath, I attended classes taught at the The Glass House and Northshore Glass. The glass techniques that I have learned include stained glass, mosaic stepping stones/wall art, and fused glass. My work is inspired by nature and I try to capture its colour and texture using abstract designs. The medium of glass allows me to create abstracts using geode stones, fused glass pieces, and textured glass. I try to use colours that are rich and contrasting yet calming.
