Born and raised in “The Friendly City” - Belleville, Ontario, Canada - I started out 26 years ago, doodling on paper. Just doing my own things. Years passed and doodles turned into works of art. I soon realized I was able to draw anything I could see and imagine. Using my imagination and emotions, I’ve created a fantasy world of my own. I was told I needed to share my creations with the world. That’s when I joined the Quinte Arts Council. In 2005, one of my creations was chosen, from a panel of judges, for the Expressions Art show. All my work is original, creations from my own imagination. I have never taken any type of art courses or schooling for what I do. Mind you, a lot of lead and erasers are used. Detail is what I love! Being able to amaze people, bringing out smiles and imagination is a powerful feeling. I’d like to think my art is for everyone, kids and adults alike. From the beautiful things in life, to the most deadly, wild things. Mixing the two together as one! Sure! Some of my work tells a story, as you will see. Showing a variety of emotions, using my pencil, pen and watercolour pencils… I give you my thoughts! So, here’s to sharing my creations with the world. I’m hoping everyone will enjoy my artwork and that it stimulates your imagination. Maybe you will find that special look or picture that reminds you of a time. Like the first time seeing a butterfly. Or maybe something a bit more for the adults… something seductive, wild or out of the ordinary. The imagination is endless, as well as that smile….. |
