Quinte Twirlers Square and Round
Dance Club has been active since the 1970's. The
name has changed a few times, but the club is still
the same. This is a Modern Square Dance Club. A
Caller teaches the moves to the dance students and
calls them in a sequence or "singing call" for the
dancers to follow. Each dance is different. Square
Dancing is Fitness, Friendship and Fun, all rolled
into one.
They dance at
Foxboro Public School, 658 Ashley
Street in Foxboro,
every Wednesday night from 7 to 9.
The club breaks for the summer, runs
from September to May.
