The Quinte Opera Guild, founded in 1984, is a volunteer organization dedicated to the following goals:

• Making Opera more accessible to residents of the Quinte community.

• Advancing the appreciation of opera by providing, at regular meetings, informed previews of operas being presented by the Canadian Opera Company (COC).

• Introducing young people to opera by sponsoring two voice students to attend an opera in the coming season.

Everyone in the community is welcome to attend previews.

A nominal membership fee additionally provides for:

• Advance ticket purchases to COC productions.

• Economical transportation to COC Sunday matinee performances.
