Stasha Novak
Stasha Novak creates silk scarves that are a riot of colour and intricate in design. She expresses her feelings about her work as “My love for colours has been with me all my life. I feel colours are like the people: some are more wonderful than others. Some colours embrace each other, some destroy each other and some colours glow and shine only if separated from another. My painted silk scarves are a song and dance of colours, from primitive to serene or sophisticated. If the women and men who wear my scarves express their feelings about them, they continue in the creative process.”
