Wayne has been a guest artist at Belleville’s Gallery 121, feature artist at ArtPlus in Belleville and has twice been included in the Prince Edward County Studio Tour. His pictures have appeared in area newspapers, magazines and calendars. Wayne teaches occasional workshops in digital photography at Loyalist College in Belleville and conducts workshops as part of the Loyalist College Summer Arts program on Amherst Island. Besides exploring Prince Edward County and the surrounding area with his camera, he has captured a rich collection of images across Canada, in Cuba and parts of Europe. Wayne’s digital work was featured on the cover of writer Rachel Vigier's first collection of poetry, On Every Stone, published by Pedlar Press in September, 2002. Some of his Cuban photos were featured in the November, 2004, edition of The Ambassador, journal of the Canada-Cuba Literary Alliance. Wayne collaborated with Wellington poet Louise O’Donnell on Infinite Horizons, a book of poems and photographs printed in May, 2004. Wayne served as chair of the Prince Edward County Arts Council from November 1999 to May 2002, currently chairs the arts bursary committee and assists each year in preparations for the Art in the County show. He contributed photos of Canadian war graves for the Maple Leaf Legacy Project and, with Don Pinder, has designed logos and posters for groups including the Ottawa Garden Club, the Regent Theatre, the Prince Edward County Jazz Festival and Art in the County. He manages the webpages for the co-op Gallery 121 in Belleville and for Art in the County. In 2008, he became a member of Arts on Main, the Picton co-op gallery. With Don Pinder, he juried the Belleville Art Association’s show in the fall of 2007.
