Keep The Faith is Kathleen Manderville, Roli Tipper and John Brannen.  All from Belleville, Ontario, they began performing together in the Praise Team at Eastminster United Church in 1999.

 

Each has a diverse musical background

  • Kathleen performed for years throughout Ontario in the group Harmony, sang in choirs, soloist for weddings, sang and acted in many musicals.

  • Roli sang for over 10 years in the Celebration gospel quartet, in choirs, performed in plays and musicals, plays flute in the instrumental group Scattered Seeds.

  • John was in a number of rock bands in Toronto playing covers of Rolling Stones, Beatles, Kiss, and 60’s classic rock.

 

In 2001 Kathleen, Roli and John started writing original music together.  The trio formed Keep The Faith in 2003 to continue writing and performing their original music.

 

They received Adjudicators Awards at Stirling Festival of Praise 2004/05.

 

Keep The Faith now performs fundraising concerts for churches and community organizations.  Their original music is in a variety of styles; pop, rock, folk, country, jazz, World, Irish and Motown.

 

They began recording in 2005 to produce 3 singles for radio release.  All 3 songs received airplay on radio stations across Canada.  The first single, I Found God Today, was eventually playlisted on 14 radio stations and was #1 on UCB Canada in Belleville for 5 weeks, #1 on The Spin on Quinte radio show on CJLX, the Loyalist College radio station, and was their #6 song of the year in 2006.

 

The second single, Keep The Faith, also reached #1 on the Spin on Quinte radio show.

 

Their debut CD, Keep The Faith, was released October 2007.

 

They were feature artist on MyFM Sessions program in Napanee, Pembroke, Strathroy, Arnprior, and Renfrew.

 

Their second CD, Forgiveness, released June 2009 to critical acclaim with radio airplay across Canada.

 

The band was the subject of a documentary on CJBQ in March 2010.
