Reflections of Molly
Peggy Holcroft was born in
Toronto. Having spent a number of years in
Belleville, she returned to the Quinte region
in 2003 after living in the United
States for twenty years.
Peggy Holcroft, as an artist, has been a member of
the various communities through the years, most recently St.
Petersburg, Florida,
where she was very active in the art scene.
A
passionate entrepreneur, Peggy Holcroft
has been successful in business and now devotes her time to her "love of
art". Peggy has extensive International commissions of private
residences and businesses. Peggy is a member of the Quinte Arts Council,
and past advertising chair on the executive board of the Belleville Art
Association, Fine Art America, Brushstrokes, Canadian Artists on
the web, and she actively participates in many events through the year.
Peggy
explores the concepts of reality and imagination using oil as her
medium. Peggy has a real love for historic homes, churches, and other
buildings and finds herself caught up in the history they have to tell
of days gone by. She sees these historic buildings as having something
special about them. Each one has a uniqueness or beauty that asks to be
captured and shared. She also captures her love for pets and the beauty
of nature in her paintings.
