| Education 1949 - Banff School of Fine Arts in
Banff Alberta. 1951-1953 Bachelor of Fine Arts program, Mount Allison University, New Brunswick. Studied under Alex Colville and Lawren Harris Jr. 1954 Archaeological Studies at the University of Mexico. 1974-1975 Bachelor of Arts Programmed, University of Waterloo. 1975-1978 Masters Program - History at University of Waterloo. Bert uses oil, watercolour and pencil to produce the most life-like images. Bert has spent a lifetime refining and developing his talents, first as a student at the Banff School of Fine Arts, then in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program at Mount Allison University, expanding his studies internationally in1954 to the University of Mexico in Archaeology. From 1974 to 1978 he studied for both a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters in History at the University of Waterloo. Bert has also studied under Alex Colville and Lawren Harris Jr.
