Biography
A group
of us got together playing at open stages and fund raisers and,
after playing for fun, the four of us decided we would like to get
together and do some “serious musical work”. After a few jam
sessions we felt we could do some good stuff and entertain people
along the way. Being from different musical preference backgrounds
our music covers a wide range of styles and eras. We have old/newer
country, swing style, good old rock and roll, songs to make you
laugh and dance. All the guys sing and we have some good harmonics.

Bruce,
our lead guitar vocals guy, says the guitar has been his source of
expression for many years. Due to an index finger, needed for
fretwork, injury his playing was put on hold. A micro hand surgeon
was able to repair it. Bruce thought his playing days were over but
years later decided there were other people who had done great
things with greater disabilities. So we are thankful that he decided
this as he is a great guitarist and his musical knowledge is an
inspiration to us.
Dave, our
bassist and another vocal guy, has been playing music of one sort or
another since high school marching bands, Air Force bands and
several individual bands over the years. He now plays in a summer
band at Brighton on the Bay and with us spring, summer, fall and
winter. We are happy to have Dave with us as he is another great
addition instrumentally and vocally to our group.
Mike, our
rhythm guitarist, sound man and another vocal guy, has played in
various bands and has done a lot of voluntary open stage work in the
area. He has been involved with music since his teenage years. Mike
adds a lot of zip to our group and is another great addition to our
sound.
Linda,
our drummer, and not another vocals guy, has been Mike’s groupie
over the years and decided she would like to participate in this
endeavour so she took up the drums. She keeps us in line (aka
Sticks).
