I have been rug hooking steadily since 1991 and received my Certification from the Teachers’ Branch of the Ontario Hooking Craft Guild in 2003, after completing a 2 year Teacher Training Program.  I am currently enrolled at St. Lawrence College working towards my Fibre Arts – Traditional Rug Hooking Certification.

I have been teaching in Campbellford for the Campbellford Seymour Rug Hooking Branch of the Ontario Hooking Craft Guild held at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, “Brighton By the Bay” Senior’s Community Centre and Primitive Country Quilt Store in Brighton

I was Secretary for the Ontario Hooking Craft Guild Teachers’ Branch, Awards Convener for the Ontario Hooking Craft Guild, and President and Secretary for the Ajax Rug Hookers a Branch of the Ontario Hooking Craft Guild.  I am currently the Chairman and contact person for the Heritage Hands Rug Hooking Branch of the Ontario Hooking Craft Guild and the Secretary of the newly formed Brighton Arts Council.
