The Belleville Lioness Club was formed by a group of women dedicated to making a difference in the well being of our community and to join in Fun and Fellowship. We received our Charter on February 23, 1988 with a membership of 21.
More photos to come..... In these 20 years we have donated almost half a million dollars back into the community. Some of our donations go to Quinte Health Care, CNIB, Gleaners, Salvation Army, Heart and Stroke, Christmas Sharing, Toy Drive, Violence Awareness, Relay for Life and just recently the Stephen Lewis Foundation's Grandmother to Grandmother Campaign. The funds are raised through Bingo, Annual Valentine Brunch, Yard Sales, Ticket Sales, etc. We are now planning some new projects. New members are always welcome. If you would like to join us in fun and fellowship and make a difference in your community call our Membership Chairperson, Lioness Marlene Chartrand at 613-962-8159. We meet the first Tuesday of each month at the Lions Club on Station Street, Belleville, Ontario.
